There is a moment in Genesis where the Creator separates the waters: the waters above and the waters below.

As I painted, I realized the Lord was doing the exact same thing inside of me, dividing and ordering my emotional waters.

The gradient on this canvas isn't just an aesthetic choice; it maps a process. In the lower part, the blues carry the weight of what was accumulated over the years, pain, scars, and weariness. As the gaze moves upward, the water clarifies. Not because the darkness ceased to exist, but because something greater passed through it and brought order.

The wave lines are not violent; they follow a continuous, inevitable, and peaceful rhythm. It is about emotional transformation as a spiritual act.

The texture is physical and tangible. You can see the movement of each wave being pulled by hand, ridge by ridge, as if the process itself were printed into the matter.
